PM Oli Returns from Thailand After BIMSTEC Summit

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has concluded his official visit to Thailand, where he participated in the 6th BIMSTEC Summit.

He departed from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 10:15 AM local time and is expected to arrive in Kathmandu by 12:30 PM.

Thai Deputy Prime Minister Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Nepal’s Ambassador to Thailand Dhan Bahadur Oli, and Thai Ambassador to Nepal Suwapong Sirisorn were present at the airport to bid farewell.

This marks the first official visit by a Nepali Prime Minister to Thailand, made at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra.

PM Oli’s delegation included First Lady Radhika Shakya, Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, and other senior officials.
