PM Oli: Too Early to Assess Quorum for Ordinance Endorsement

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said it is premature to determine whether the recently issued ordinances will be endorsed by Parliament.

Speaking to journalists at the Federal Parliament Building today, Oli stated that the time has not yet come to assess the quorum required for their endorsement.

The government had issued six ordinances at different times before the start of the ongoing winter session. As per parliamentary rules, these ordinances must be presented to the House once the session begins.
