PM Prachanda meets CPC politburo member Yuan Jiajun in Chongqing

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, who is on a weeklong official visit to China, met with the member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Municipality Committee Yuan Jiajun in Chongqing on Tuesday.

Upon his arrival in Chongqing City, the PM met the CPC leader Jiajun at Chongqing Metropolitan City. During the meeting, issues of bilateral interests and mutual cooperation and understanding were discussed.

Earlier at Chongqing Airport, the PM was received by vice-mayors of Chongqing Municipality Dang Yangzheng and Jang Gaoji.

PM Prachanda also visited the Chongqing Academy of Agricultural Sciences to study about scientific and modern agriculture system there.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by Foreign Minister NP Saud and other members of his delegation. The PM is scheduled to stay in Chongqing city on Tuesday.
