
Poet Dinesh Adhikari’s Anthology ‘Paaniko Parade’ Launched


Renowned poet and lyricist Dinesh Adhikari officially released his latest poetry anthology, ‘Paaniko Parade’, at a literary event in Kathmandu today.
The book was unveiled as Adhikari presented the collection to Dr. Navaraj Lamsal and Momila, both esteemed figures in Nepal’s literary scene.
‘Paaniko Parade’ features 77 poems, spanning from 2064 BS to 2080 BS, including both previously published and unpublished works. This marks Adhikari’s 17th literary contribution.
Speaking at the event, Madan Puraskar laureate Dr. Lamsal praised Adhikari’s ability to blend subjective emotions with objective consciousness, solidifying his stature in Nepali poetry.
Meanwhile, poet and essayist Momila lauded Adhikari’s mastery of poetic expression, emphasizing the artistic depth in his compositions.
The book’s release coincided with International Women’s Day, adding a symbolic touch to the occasion.
Reflecting on his literary journey, Adhikari shared his joy at completing 50 years in poetry. He recited some of his notable works, including ‘Ama’, ‘Antim Tayari’, ‘Bihe’, and ‘Achanak Ek Din’, captivating the audience.
