Police Day celebrated, Lifetime Achievement Award to AIG Singh

Nepal Police celebrated its 67th Foundation Day today. A special function was organized at Police Headquarters Naxal.
Police Day is celebrated every year to commemorate the day when the Nepal Police Act, 2012 was stamped with the red seal.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Home Minister Balkrishna Khad, Inspector General of Police Dhiraj Pratap Singh, and others participated in the program organized on Monday morning.
The families of policemen who lost their lives in the line of duty were also honored in the program.
Former AIG Rajendra Bahadur Singh was honored with Lifetime Achievement Award at the event.
