‘Politics has been turned into a means of securing livelihood’

Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Prasad Lingden has stated that politics has been turned into a means of securing livelihood rather than a platform for serving the community.

Speaking at a ceremony in Kathmandu on Thursday, he emphasized that politics entails more than just theoretical knowledge.

Lingden highlighted the distortion that has crept into politics in recent times, noting that mentioning politics often instills fear in people.

He advocated for a shift in perspective, asserting that politics should be embraced as a service to society rather than merely a career pursuit.
