Popular singer Robin Tamang passes away
Popular singer and actor Robin Tamang passed away on Tuesday at his residence in Budhanilkantha, according to his family. He was 60.
Police, who arrived at his residence after he didn’t respond to is wife’s calls, discovered his body inside a locked room in his house in Budhanilkantha.
Tamang – vocalist of Robin and the Revolution Band – was also active in cinema acting. Most recently, he was featured in a film ‘Chhadke-2’. Tamang had substantial contributions to the enrichment of Nepal rock style songs and music.
Nepali music practitioners have expressed grief over the passing away of Tamang through social media.
‘Nepal’, ‘Ekata’, ‘Chiso Chiso Hawama’, ‘Maila Bhai’, ‘Jati Maya Laye Pani’, ‘Dam Maro Dam’ and ‘Bhul Ma Bhulyo’ are some of his popular songs.
