Practice Match between Nepal and USA Called Off Due to Rain

The ICC T20 warm-up match between Nepal and the United States of America (USA) has been canceled due to adverse weather conditions, namely rain. The match, scheduled to take place at 9:15 PM Nepali time, was called off after continuous rainfall.

Initially, USA won the toss and elected to bat first. However, just after the toss, rain started pouring down on the field, forcing a delay in the proceedings. Despite efforts from the ground staff to prepare the field after the rain stopped, the match had to be canceled as rain resumed.

This cancellation comes after Nepal suffered a defeat against Canada by 63 runs in their first warm-up match. The disappointment of this cancellation adds pressure as Nepal gears up to face the Netherlands in their opening match of the World Cup on Tuesday.

Nepal finds itself placed in Group D alongside South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands for the World Cup, scheduled to be held from June 1 to 29 across America and the West Indies.
