Pradeep Poudel sees need of electing party leadership by public

Nepali Congress (NC) leader and lawmaker Pradeep Poudel has stressed the need for a provision to elect the party leadership through a civic-level.
During his address to the first municipal convention of Ramapur municipality in Palpa on Saturday, the NC youth leader proposed idea of granting the right to the publiAc to elect party leadership so that, as he argued, the party could get a competent leadership.
He was also concerned over growing culture of ‘groupism’ within the party. ” Groupism has been the characteristic of the party that carries a glorious history for its successful roles in each critical periods in the country.”
