President discharged from TU Teaching Hospital
President Ram Chandra Paudel has been discharged from hospital.
President Paudel, who was admitted to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital at Maharajgunj in the capital on Saturday evening due to a stomach related problem, recovered and discharged from the hospital on Wednesday.
TUTH administration chief Baikuntha Prasad Thapaliya confirmed the discharge of the President from the hospital today.
According to the doctors involved in the treatment, President Paudel had stomach pain below his chest.
President Paudel has returned to official residence for President, Shital Niwas after 4 days. Doctors advised him to take a full rest for sometimes, it is said.
Meanwhile, the President has thanked the all health professionals involved in his treatment and care, TUTH family and all those wishing him recovery, according to his Secretariat.
