President Issues Ordinance to Address Cooperative Sector Challenges

President Ram Chandra Paudel
President Ramchandra Paudel has issued the Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Cooperatives, 2081 on the recommendation of the Government of Nepal.
A statement from the President’s Office confirmed that the ordinance was promulgated in line with Article 114 of the Constitution of Nepal. This move was deemed necessary as the parliament is currently not in session, leaving the government unable to address pressing issues in the cooperative sector through regular legislative processes.
The ordinance aims to resolve ongoing problems within the cooperative sector, ensuring smoother operations and improved governance. Further details about the amendments and their implications are expected to be disclosed soon.
