President Paudel addressing joint meeting of Federal Parliament

President Ramchandra Paudel is delivering a speech at a joint meeting of both Houses of the federal parliament. This marks his inaugural address to the Federal Parliament following his election as the President.

The primary objective of the President’s speech today is to present the government’s policies and programs for the forthcoming fiscal year—2023/2024.

Distinguished leaders of political parties, heads and representatives of constitutional bodies, high-ranking government officials, as well as heads of diplomatic missions in Nepal, among others, are participating in this significant gathering.

Following the conclusion of this meeting, separate sessions of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly will convene later today.
