President Paudel announces discontinuation of unnecessary associations and offices
During the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament, President Ramchandra Paudel presented the policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year 2080/081.
In his address, he announced the government’s intention to eliminate unnecessary associations, committees, and offices.
President Paudel emphasized that development committees and funds engaging in redundant tasks, deviating from their intended purpose, or lacking relevance will either be amalgamated or discontinued. He further stated that appropriate legal measures will be implemented to effectively manage the human resources and assets associated with the abolished or merged institutions.
Moreover, President Paudel highlighted the government’s plan to restructure, reinstate, and revitalize public institutions that have been closed or rendered non-functional based on comprehensive assessments and studies.
