President Paudel to Convene All-Party Meeting

President Ramchandra Paudel has announced plans to host an all-party meeting for the very first time during his tenure. The President’s Chief Political Adviser, Sunil Thapa, confirmed that the meeting is scheduled to take place over the weekend, either on Saturday or Sunday.

Speaking about the decision, Thapa stated, “An all-party meeting has been scheduled at the behest of President Paudel. Despite assuming the presidential office, he has yet to convene a gathering of leaders from all political parties. This initiative underscores his commitment to comprehending the prevailing circumstances and seeking collective solutions.”

President Paudel’s recent engagement with key political figures is indicative of his dedication to finding a resolution to the ongoing parliamentary impasse. Last week, he held discussions with Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuwa. Notably, the President also engaged in talks with Prime Minister Prachanda, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, and Ganesh Timilsina, Chairman of the National Assembly, on the same pertinent topic.
