Price of petroleum products increased

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the price of petroleum products.

The oil monopoly hiked the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs 3 per liter effective from 12 midnight on Monday following the revised price list sent by Indian Oil Corporation.

With the revised rate, the price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 178 per liter and diesel and kerosene at Rs 175.

According to the NOC, the price of LP gas for cooking and aviation fuel has been kept unchanged.

“There is still a challenge for the NOC to manage the arrears of Indian Oil Corporation Limited and the loans provided by the government,” the NOC said in a statement.
