Prime Minister: Kailash Sirohiya Will Be Released Soon If Proven Innocent

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has stated that if Kantipur Media Group Chairman Kailash Sirohiya is found innocent, he will be released soon after the completion of the court process.

Prime Minister Dahal, who participated in the ‘Himalayan, Human, and Climate Change: International Dialogue of Experts’ program held in Kathmandu today, made a statement about the arrest of Sirohiya, chairman of Kantipur Media Group.

He said, “This is a matter that will proceed through the court process. If he is innocent, then he will be released soon.”

Prime Minister Dahal also said that it is wrong to claim that the government has shown hostility towards Sirohiya.
