Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has announced that party meetings will no longer be held at the Prime Minister’s official residence.
In a Facebook post this morning, PM Oli stated that the decision aligns with suggestions from the general public received through social networking sites. He indicated that this change will be in effect until his health permits otherwise and encouraged continued public feedback.
“Our party’s secretariat meeting is taking place today. The meeting is being convened in another place as the meeting could not be held at the party office due to inundation after the flood in the Manohara River. Continue offering me feedback like this. Thank you!” PM Oli wrote on Facebook.
The CPN (UML) secretariat meeting is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am today. According to the party’s publicity department chief, Rajendra Gautam, the meeting will address the responsibilities of central leaders and discuss contemporary political issues.
