Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Extends Greetings on Ram Nawami and Chaite Dashain

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended warm greetings to the public on the occasion of Ram Nawami and Chaite Dashain, celebrated today across the country.
In a message shared on his official social media account, Prime Minister Oli reflected on the significance of Lord Ram, describing him as an embodiment of peace, justice, morality, good governance, and duty, as portrayed in the ancient Hindu scripture, the Ramayana.
“Countries with good governance were once referred to as Ram Rajya in ancient civilizations,” the Prime Minister noted. “Ram chose the path of dignity over popularity, which is why he is revered as an ideal human being of supreme character.”
The festival of Ram Nawami, which marks the birth of Lord Shri Ramchandra, is observed on the ninth day of the waxing moon in the month of Chaitra according to the lunar calendar. Devotees across the country are celebrating the occasion with traditional worship and prayers.
