Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Meets Chinese President Xi Jinping During Official Visit
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, currently on a four-day official visit to the People’s Republic of China, held a courtesy meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping today. The two leaders exchanged views on strengthening Nepal-China relations and discussed matters of mutual interest and concern.
The meeting was attended by several key members of the Nepali delegation, including Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Chief Political Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Economic Advisor Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada, Chief Secretary Eaknaryan Aryal, Acting Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, Joint Secretary Krishna Prasad Dhakal, and Nepal’s Ambassador to China, Krishna Prasad Oli.
Prime Minister Oli is visiting China at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Premier Li Qiang. His agenda includes high-level talks aimed at bolstering bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, connectivity, and development. The visit underscores Nepal’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with China in alignment with shared regional and global objectives.
