Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Presents Civil Servant Awards to 40 Government Employees
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli handed out the Civil Servant Awards to 40 government employees today in a ceremony at Singh Darbar, marking the 21st Civil Service Day. The awards, announced last year, were distributed in recognition of the civil servants’ outstanding contributions during the 20th Civil Service Day celebrations.
PM Oli conferred 10 Best Civil Service Awards, each accompanied by a cash prize of Rs 100,000, to the following recipients: Thaneshwar Gautam, Buddha Bahadur Gurung, Kavind Nepal, Man Bahadur Khadka, Ram Prasad Lamsal, Dhundiraj Lamichhane, Chandra Prasad Mishra, Sunil Kumar KC, Laxmi Krishna Hamal, and Shuba Lakshmi Lama.
Additionally, 30 Civil Service Awards, each with a cash prize of Rs 50,000, were presented to: Dr. Roshni Lakshmi Tuitui, Kumar Ghimire, Sukdev Lamsal, Revika Amatya, Raj Kumar KC, Homanath Bhattarai, Sangeeta Swar, Dr. Damru Ballav Poudel, Narayan Prasad Gyawali, Chudaraj Sapkota, Shobha Giri, Nar Bahadur Negi, Meen Paudel, Sushila Gyawali, Kishor Panthi, Navraj Tamang, Sujan Jojiju, Yukt Prasad Subedi, Manita Neupane, Shashidhar Sedhain, Thakur Prasad Bhattarai, Manoj Kumar Mahato, Raju Katuwal Chhetri, Hurmat BK, Dev Kala Aryal, Umesh Bhattarai, Ram Prakash Sah, Deepak Raj Pant, Shanta Maharjan, and Jawahar Lal Ahir.
The event was attended by Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal and other high-ranking officials. During the ceremony, the names of the recipients for this year’s Best Civil Service Award and Civil Service Award were also announced. The government continues to recognize and reward its employees annually based on their performance and contributions.
