Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli arrived in Bangkok today as part of his official visit to Thailand and to attend the Sixth BIMSTEC Summit scheduled for April 4.
He landed at 6:15 PM (local time) at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, where he was welcomed by Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Minister for Culture and Sports Sorawong Thienthong, Nepali Ambassador to Thailand Dhan Bahadur Oli, and Thai Ambassador to Nepal Suwapong Sirisorn, among others.
This marks the first-ever official visit of a Nepali Head of Government to Thailand.
Prime Minister Oli is leading a high-level delegation, including First Lady Radhika Shakya, Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Economic and Development Advisor Dr. Yubraj Khatiwada, and Chief Secretary Eaknarayan Aryal.
