Prof Adhikari appointed NPC Vice-Chairperson, Gadtaula in Chief Secretary
The government has appointed Acting Chief Secretary Liladevi Gadtaula as the Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held today decided to appoint Gadtaula as the Chief Secretary, Minister for Communications and Information Technology and Government’s Spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung said.
Likewise, the cabinet meeting appointed the Vice-Chairperson and members of the National Planning Commission (NPC).
Prof Dr Shivaraj Adhikari of Palpa district has been appointed the NPC Vice-Chairperson, according to Minister Gurung. Adhikari is a professor of economics at Tribhuvan University.
Similarly, the cabinet meeting appointed RP Bichha, Dr Ramesh Prasad Singh, Dr Prakash Kumar Shrestha, Gita Kumari Poudel Adhikari, Dr Jaya Bahadur Tandon and Ganga Dutta Awasthi as the NPC members.
