Public Feedback Sought on Transitional Justice Commissions

The committee tasked with recommending office-bearers for the transitional justice bodies has invited public suggestions on the selection process for members of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons (CIEDP).

Draft guidelines have been posted on the websites of the commissions and the notice board of the Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs.

Feedback can be submitted until April 10, according to committee spokesperson Dr. Lily Thapa.
