Rabi Oad: From Idol to Accused, Marital Rape Allegations Rock Nepal

An arrest warrant has been issued against renowned singer Rabi Oad following allegations of marital rape, according to reports from Kanchanpur. The Kanchanpur police have been granted permission from the district court to pursue the warrant.

Oad’s wife has made accusations against him, including allegations of marital rape and involvement in unnatural sexual acts. The complaint was lodged on Chaitra 20, prompting action from law enforcement.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Chakraraj Joshi of the District Police Office in Kanchanpur has confirmed that the search for Oad has begun. Oad, a resident of Krishnapur Municipality in Kanchanpur, rose to fame as the winner of Nepal Idol Season 2.

Currently, Oad is reported to be in Japan for a musical event, adding complexity to the legal proceedings. Authorities are coordinating efforts to address the situation as it unfolds.
