Rastriya Swatantra Party Expels Former General Secretary Mukul Dhakal
The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has expelled its former General Secretary Mukul Dhakal from the party’s general membership. The decision was made during a Central Committee meeting held today at the party’s central office in Banasthali.
Acting General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti, sharing the details of the decision, stated that the party’s Central Committee has revoked Dhakal’s ordinary membership under Article 56 (3) of the party’s statute.
The expulsion follows a previous Central Committee meeting that had sought clarification from Dhakal after a report from the Central Disciplinary Commission raised concerns. Although Dhakal submitted his explanation, the party found his response unsatisfactory, leading to the decision to expel him from the party.
