Resham Chaudhary Meets KP Oli, Extends Thanks

A meeting transpired between CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and Resham Chaudhary, the patron of Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP), at Oli’s residence in Balkot on Monday morning. The meeting entailed discussions on contemporary politics and a reflection on their respective experiences, including Chaudhary’s time in prison.
Furthermore, during the meeting, Resham Chaudhary expressed his gratitude towards Chairman Oli for sending him a jacket and shoes while he was in jail.

The former lawmaker Chaudhary was released from the Dilli Bajar Jail on May 29 after being granted presidential pardon.
Chaudhary was the mastermind of the Tikapur (Kailali) carnage that erupted on August 17, 2015.
