RPP to remain neutral in presidential election

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has decided to not cast a vote in the presidential election taking place tomorrow.

A meeting of the Central Work Execution Committee of the party held today at the party headquarters, Dhumbarahi, took the decision to remain neutral in the election.

Talking to media persons after the meeting, RPP Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha said the party decided not to participate in the voting process and to remain neutral in the presidential election. The party made this decision as per the sentiment of cadres, well-wishers and people, he added.

Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel and CPN (UML) Vice-Chairperson Subas Chandra Nembang are contesting in the election.
