Rs 1.82 Billion Deposited to Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund

A total of Rs 1.82 billion has been deposited into the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund, according to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. The fund, which supports disaster survivors, has received contributions from various individuals, institutions, companies, and agencies as of October 20.

The government has been utilizing this amount to provide relief and rehabilitation for those affected by the devastating floods and landslides caused by the incessant rains on September 27-28. In response to the disaster, the government has categorized the most affected areas to ensure a smooth and efficient distribution of relief to those in need.
