Rs 15 per transaction for using ATMs of other banks

The central bank of Nepal says banks and financial institutions from now onwards charge up to Rs 15 per transaction for using ATMs of other banks to withdraw money from the accounts at other banks.

People will now have to pay Rs 15 per transaction for using the automated teller machine (ATM) of other banks.

The rate was Rs 20 at a maximum per transaction after two free transactions previously.

So far, people were getting two such transactions free of cost every month. However, now there is no provision for any free transactions while using other banks’ ATMs.
