RSP Sets Educational and Experiential Prerequisites for Key Leadership Positions

The Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has introduced new membership criteria aimed at enhancing the expertise and qualifications of its leadership. According to spokesperson Mukul Dhakal, the party has outlined specific educational and experiential prerequisites for individuals aspiring to hold key positions within the party’s organizational structure.

Under the newly established guidelines, individuals seeking membership in the central department and aspiring to lead provincial committees within the RSP must hold a master’s degree. Alternatively, those without a master’s degree must possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in their respective fields. However, Dhakal emphasized that candidates lacking a master’s degree or extensive experience may still be considered if they have achieved exceptional accomplishments within their areas of expertise.

The RSP has also delineated a comprehensive structure comprising central, provincial, municipal, and ward committees. The party’s organizational framework encompasses 36 distinct departments, each focused on specific domains such as Economic Policy, Education, Health, and Agriculture.

To be eligible for membership in provincial and head of municipal departments, individuals must hold a bachelor’s degree or possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Furthermore, candidates can qualify based on extraordinary achievements in their respective fields.

In a move aimed at promoting grassroots involvement, the RSPAhas set different criteria for municipal department membership. As per the guidelines, candidates for municipal department positions must have at least completed their 12th-grade education, possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or demonstrate extraordinary accomplishments.
