Rumors of Government Change Baseless, Focus on Development: PM Oli

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has dismissed speculation about a change in government, calling it nothing more than a rumor. Speaking at the inauguration of the new administrative building of Ichhakamana Rural Municipality in Chitwan on Thursday, the Prime Minister urged local leaders to focus on accelerating development while upholding good governance.

“There is no truth to the talk of a government change,” he said. “This government, formed through a partnership between two major political parties with a shared legacy, is committed to ensuring stability, progress, and accountable leadership in the country.”

PM Oli emphasized that the government is united in its vision and goals and firmly focused on delivering results. He called on local representatives to work confidently and collaboratively in the nationwide campaign for prosperity.

“We are determined to build a prosperous Nepal and ensure the happiness of all Nepalis through good governance. I urge you to move forward with this mission in unity and confidence,” he said.

He also expressed hope that the newly inaugurated administrative building would enhance service delivery and reinforce transparency and efficiency at the local level.

Also present at the event were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh, Bagmati Province Chief Deepak Prasad Devkota, and other dignitaries.
