Sagarmatha Sambaad Delegates Experience Himalayan Majesty on Mountain Flight

Foreign delegates attending the first-ever international ‘Sagarmatha Sambaad’ were treated to a spectacular mountain flight, offering them a panoramic aerial view of Nepal’s majestic Himalayan range, including the world’s highest peak, Mount Sagarmatha (Everest).

The special flight, which lasted approximately one hour, was organized under the leadership of Minister for Forests and Environment Ain Bahadur Shahi. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) coordinated the effort to ensure the guests had an unforgettable experience of Nepal’s natural wonders.

During the scenic flight, participants had the opportunity to witness iconic peaks such as Mount Makalu, Nuptse, Gauri Shankar, and several other towering ranges up close.

Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO of the Nepal Tourism Board, stated that the flight was part of Nepal’s broader effort to promote adventure tourism and showcase the country’s unique high-altitude landscapes to the international community.

The Sagarmatha Sambaad, themed ‘Climate Change, Mountains, and the Future of Humanity’, has drawn over 350 dignitaries and experts from Nepal and around the world, underscoring global concern over the climate crisis and its impact on mountainous regions.
