Sandeep Lamichhane in Singapore

Former Nepal national cricket skipper Sandeep Lamichhane is currently in Singapore.

Sandeep, who had gone to Jamaica to play Caribbean Premier League, said that he would come to Nepal within a few days after a rape complaint was filed against him at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Gaushala

It has been revealed that Sandeep had come to Singapore from Jamaica and he is taking legal consultation from there.

Advocate Sarah Ghimire has left Nepal for Singapore to give legal advice to Lamichhane, according to a source.

Though Sandeep urged the CAN to help him in the legal process, he has not contacted the CAN since he left Jamaica.

The CAN suspended Lamichhane on September 8 after an arrest warrant was issued against him over an alleged rape case.
Sandeep is now preparing to fight a legal battle on his own.
