School Building Inaugurated in Deukhuri
A new 36-room building of the Padmodaya Public Model School in Bharatpur, Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-15, was inaugurated on Friday.
Constructed with financial support from the Embassy of India, the building was inaugurated in the presence of the school management committee, Bikas Chaudhary, and Avinash Kumar Singh, First Secretary of the Indian Embassy in Nepal.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Mr. Singh emphasized that the Government of India aims to fulfill the educational aspirations of the youth and strengthen the lives of citizens in remote areas through such initiatives.
Nityanand Sharma, Chief of the District Coordination Committee, Dang, remarked that the support from the Indian government in various sectors including education, health, and infrastructure development, has significantly impacted the lives of the Nepalese people.
Narulal Chaudhary, Mayor of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City, praised the Indian government for its role in developing the physical infrastructure of the school.
Chief District Officer Rambandhu Subedi highlighted the importance of properly utilizing the new school building to enhance the quality of education.
The 36-room building was constructed at a cost of Rs 15.9 million.
