Second round of talk between Ex-British Gurkhas, British Government takes place

The second round of the talk regarding demands of the Ex-Gurkha Army who served in the British Army between the Governments of Nepal and the United Kingdom has concluded here.

The meeting has been viewed as the building block to resolve problems of the Ex-British Gurkhas.

The around two-hour meeting discussed pension provided by the British Government to the serving and retired Gurkhas, the main demand of the Ex-Gurkhas, said Ms Roshan Khanal, deputy chief of mission in the Nepali Embassy in the UK, one of the meeting attendees. It was also decided upon to hold another round of talks in the second week of December 2022.

The talk that took place on Wednesday in the Nepali Embassy in London was attended by the office bearers of the Defence Ministry of the British Government and representatives of the Ex-Gurkhas.
