Secondary School Examination (SEE) Begins Nationwide Today

The Secondary School Examination (SEE), a significant academic assessment for Grade 10 students in Nepal, commenced today across the country. The Office of the Controller of Examinations under the National Examination Board (NEB) confirmed that the exams are being conducted at 2,079 examination centers from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
On the first day, students will be tested on Compulsory English, Compulsory Sanskrit, and Compulsory Arabic as scheduled. This year, a total of 514,071 students are participating in the SEE, a noticeable increase from the 464,785 students who appeared last year.
To ensure a smooth examination process, each center accommodating up to 150 examinees has been assigned an assistant superintendent and an invigilator for every 20 students.
The SEE, which started today, is set to conclude on April 1. The exam serves as a crucial milestone for students, determining their eligibility for higher secondary education in Nepal.
