Shocking scene in Parliament as lawmaker strips shirt in protest

During a session of the House of Representatives on Monday, Independent Member of Parliament Amresh Kumar Singh resorted to a disruptive and unorthodox form of protest.

MP Singh, who had requested for time to speak during the meeting, was denied by the Speaker. In response, he proceeded to remove his shirt in a demonstration of protest.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire responded by issuing a warning to Singh, stating that he would be forced to take action against him if he did not conduct himself in a dignified and respectful manner.
