Shut Hetauda cement industry resumes

Hetauda Cement Industry that remained closed since two weeks has resumed today following the supply of coal. The industry closed due to lack of coal, said the industry management.

Although it has called a bidding for the supply of 8,000 metric tonnes of coal, only 1,600 metric have been supplied, said the industry’s deputy general manager Nabin Kumar Karna, adding that the amount supplied would last only 15 days.

Coal is being supplied from India, Bhutan, Indonesia and Pakistan, he said.
