
Sixth Session of Lumbini Province Assembly Commences Today


The sixth session of the Lumbini Province Assembly is set to begin today.
Following a recommendation by the Council of Ministers on May 8, Province Assembly Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti summoned the session in accordance with Article 183(1) of the Constitution of Nepal.
Province Assembly Secretary Durlav Kumar Pun informed RSS that today’s agenda includes the presentation of official correspondences received from the Office of the Province Chief, along with discussions on current political and governance issues.
Meanwhile, the Lumbini Province Government is preparing to present its annual policy and programme document in the assembly next week.
