Socialist Front Meeting Postponed
The Socialist Front, a coalition of four left-leaning political parties, has decided to postpone its meeting, which was originally scheduled for this afternoon. The decision comes as a result of the unfortunate passing of Sita Dahal, the beloved wife of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.
Sita Dahal, 59, breathed her last earlier today while undergoing medical treatment at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali. Her unexpected demise has cast a pall of grief and mourning over the political landscape, prompting the Socialist Front to express condolences and empathy toward Prime Minister Prachanda and his family.
The meeting, which was planned to convene at 4 o’clock this afternoon, was set to take place at the party office of the Unified Socialist Party, located in Aloknagar.
