‘Socialist Front Not a Threat to Anyone, Except to Progress Haters’
Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Chairman, Upendra Yadav, has stated that no-one should be fearful of the establishment of the Socialist Front.
Speaking at the Socialist Front declaration program held on Monday in Kathmandu, which included the Maoist Center, Unified Socialists, Janata Samajwadi Party, and Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal, Yadav emphasized the front’s commitment to cooperation for progressive changes beneficial to the nation and its people.
“This front is not aimed against anyone, no one should be scared. Some friends started grumbling before the announcement, but there is no need for such concerns. We will move forward with cooperation for progressive changes for the benefit of the country and the people,” Yadav reassured.
However, Yadav did caution that those who undermine the achievements of past people’s movements and sacrifices should be wary of the front’s intent. Recognizing the skepticism surrounding the formation of numerous alliances in the past, Yadav acknowledged that citizens may have doubts about this front as well. Nevertheless, he asserted that the front’s behavior and actions would dispel such suspicions.
“In the past, many fronts were formed and collapsed. Citizens have doubts about this front too. However, such suspicions will be proven wrong through our actions. It is a front built on an ideological political basis to achieve a certain objective, and we will demonstrate its credibility through practical implementation,” Yadav stated.
