Socialist Front to Engage Civil Society, Intellectuals in Political Discussions

The Socialist Front will hold consultations with civil society and intellectuals on Saturday to discuss the latest political developments.

The decision was made during the Front’s 12th central working committee meeting held at the central office of CPN (Unified Socialist) in Aloknagar today. The Front will also interact with journalists on the same day.

Additionally, it has decided to initiate political dialogue with various parties, both within and outside Parliament, according to Nepal Communist Party Spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwokarma. He stated that the discussions aim to strengthen national sovereignty, safeguard the republic, and advance the path toward socialism.

The meeting also focused on ensuring the success of the protest assembly and mass demonstration scheduled for March 28. Leaders expressed concerns over the growing complexity of the country’s political landscape, particularly due to pro-monarchy demonstrations.

Key figures attending the meeting included CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Communist Party of Nepal General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand, and Nepal Socialist Party Chairperson Mahindra Raya Yadav, among others.
