Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Enjoys Taking Selfies at Chandragiri [Photos]
Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Mohamed Uvais Mohamed Ali Sabry, currently on an visit to Nepal, added a touch of adventure to his diplomatic mission as he explored the breathtaking landscapes of Chandragiri Hills in Kathmandu.
Upon his arrival at the famous tourist destination, Minister Sabry was warmly welcomed by Hemraj Dhakal, the President of Chandragiri Hills. President Dhakal took the opportunity to enlighten the distinguished guest about the historical, religious, and touristic significance of Chandragiri.
Shyam Tandukar, the Acting General Manager of Chandragiri Hills, shared that Foreign Minister Sabry expressed genuine fascination with the panoramic view of the open sky and the picturesque rolling mountains. Minister Sabry, captivated by the natural beauty, embraced the modern trend of capturing memories, enjoying the scenic surroundings through numerous selfies taken at various points.
Chandragiri Hills has been steadily gaining prominence as a key tourist and religious destination in South Asia. The location has attracted the attention of dignitaries, including heads of government and heads of state from various countries, along with international personalities who have reached the hills by cable car.
In a noteworthy development, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi had previously visited Chandragiri Hills, contributing to the growing list of international figures exploring the region. Minister Yi even undertook a brief trek down from the hills, showcasing the diverse attractions that Chandragiri has to offer.
