Sri Lanka’s President congratulates PM Prachanda in phone call

The President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Ranil Wickremesinghe congratulated the newly appointed Prime Minister and Chairman of the CPN Maoist Centre Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on being appointed as Nepal’s new Prime Minister.
Telephoning on Friday, Wickremesinghe congratulated and extended his best wishes to Prime Minister Prachanda.

During a telephone conversation , the two also discussed on issues related to bilateral relations and mutual benefits, strengthening the friendly relationship between Nepal and Sri Lanka , among other issues.
