Stakeholders should pay attention of quality education, Minister Sharma says

Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma has called for serious attention of all stakeholders for quality enhancement of education.

Addressing the 64th establishment day of Phulchowki Secondary School at Godavari Municipality in Lalitpur on Monday, Minister Sharma asked the representatives of local levels to unveil effective plans for quality enhancement of education.

“The people’s representatives who have come with certain goals have improved quality of education in schools. The parents have complained of further deterioration of educational quality in some schools. The representatives of all local levels are required to make effective plans for quality upliftment of education,” according to Minister Sharma.

Likewise, Minister Sharma stressed the need for increasing use of information technology to ensure better quality but cautioned the stakeholders towards the misuse of information technology by the school-level students.

On the occasion, Minister Sharma expressed her pleasure to the awareness infused in parents to better the quality of community school. “Students’ attraction to community schools is gradually increasing. This should be further expedited,” Sharma said.

Established with the initiate of communist leader late Dil Bahadur Shrestha, the school has more than 1,200 students at present, according to Chairman of School Management Committee Dipendra Shrestha.
