Surya Nepal Donates Rs. 14 Million for Earthquake Relief
Surya Nepal Pvt. Ltd., a leading corporate entity, has extended a generous donation of Rs. 14 million as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to support earthquake relief, rescue, and rehabilitation efforts in the earthquake-affected regions of Jajarkot, Rukum, and surrounding districts. The company’s commitment to assisting the affected population in the wake of this disaster demonstrates their dedication to community well-being.
A delegation from Surya Nepal Pvt. Ltd., led by Managing Director Ravi Rayavaram, Vice President Ravi KC, Vikas Bhutra, Dipra Lahiri, and Finance Manager Prem Aryal, officially handed over a substantial contribution of Rs. 10 million to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. This amount will be deposited into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to aid in immediate relief and recovery efforts in the affected areas.
In addition to the monetary donation, Surya Nepal Pvt. Ltd. has dispatched essential relief supplies, including food, tarpaulin, and blankets valued at Rs. 3.5 million to the earthquake-stricken region of Jajarkot. These resources will provide crucial support to those affected by the disaster, helping them cope with the aftermath and stay safe during these challenging times.
Furthermore, the company has taken an additional step in contributing to the ongoing relief efforts by donating medicines worth Rs. 500,000. These vital medical supplies have been handed over to the rescue team of Bir Hospital, which is headed toward the disaster zone, ensuring that the injured and affected individuals receive the medical care they urgently require.
