T20 WC: Afghanistan to face Australia on Friday

Afghanistan will play its fifth and final match in the ICC Twenty20 World Cup against Australia tomorrow (Friday) at Adelaide Oval.
If Australia can navigate its way past Afghanistan, they will need either England to lose to Sri Lanka or an Ireland win over New Zealand to qualify for the last four.
Australia could still qualify it if England defeats Sri Lanka, but that will require a huge win against Afghanistan to make up the net run-rate difference.
Afghanistan is already out of the knockout race after two defeats and two washouts. The tournament has been quite disappointing for the team in almost every department.
However, with nothing to lose, Afghanistan wants to play fearless cricket against Australia, possibly trying to spoil the latter’s hopes of defending the title.
