
Three Arrested in Pashupati Sand Corruption Case, Including Former LDOs

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested three individuals found guilty of corruption in connection with the sand mine operation under the Pashupati Development Fund.
CIB Spokesperson SP Yubaraj Khadka confirmed the arrests, stating that the action was taken to implement the court’s verdict.
The arrested individuals are Premraj Joshi, Mahendralal Shrestha, and Raju Kumar Regmi. Joshi and Shrestha are former Local Development Officers (LDOs), while Regmi is the former director of the Pashupati Development Fund.
Further investigation into the case is ongoing, authorities said.
