Three Family Members Killed in Jajarkot Landslide

A landslide in Majhgaun, Nalgad Municipality-2 of Jajarkot, claimed the lives of three family members early this morning. The victims have been identified as Lal Bahadur Pariyar, 42, Manisa Pariyar, 34, and their two-year-old son, Shivam Pariyar, all residents of Nalgad-2.

According to Nalgad Municipality Mayor Dambar Rawat, the family was residing in a temporary shelter constructed for earthquake victims when the landslide struck. The incident occurred near Dalli, the administrative center of Nalgad Municipality.

A police team led by Inspector Madhav Prasad Chaudhary from the Area Police Office in Dalli arrived at the scene to assess the situation, Mayor Rawat confirmed.
