Three Injured in Helicopter Crash Brought to Kathmandu

Three people, including the captain, who were seriously injured in a helicopter accident in Sankhuwasabha, has been brought to Kathmandu by helicopter for further treatment.

An officer of the District Police Office informed that remaining two other people who were also injured, can be treated  Khandbari District Hospital.

The helicopter, which had five people on board, crashed leaving Pilot Surendra Poudel, assistant Manoj Thapa, Chhiring Bhote, Bhavin Gurung, and Electricity Authority employee Bikram Shankar injured.

The helicopter was taken off from Rapsa of Bhotkhola Rural Municipality – 5.

Police have said that the chopper crashed while it was approaching landing.
